God is not the Creator, says English professor..

Professor Ellen van Wold from Radboud University in the Netherlands claims that the first sentence of Genesis ( “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”) all this time incorrectly translated from the Hebrew, and that the Bible writers intention was never to mark God as the creator of the world.

According to Jewish-Christian tradition, God created the Earth from nothing, however, Professor van Wold, prominent scientists, izu?avalac Old Testament and the writer, after completion of research argues that the Hebrew verb “bara” does not “create”, but “split” (in space ), and that the first sentence of the Bible should read: “In the beginning God split the sky from Earth.

Former associate of the famous Nobel Prize-Umberto Eco’s said is that God created animals and humans, but the earth and water in it already existed before. “God is the creator of some things, but heaven and earth. The usual idea of creation from nothing (creatio ex nihilo) is a big misunderstanding,” says van Wold, and adds: “Perhaps we will all of this just hurt. I consider myself religious person, and Creator was something very special (for me), as well as the notion of trust. I want to preserve that trust. “

    Does it matter?

Myself, I believe the entire universe was sneezed out of the nose of a being called the Great Green Arkleseizure. Does that make me a bad person?

I do however have a fear of something called The Coming of the Great White Handkerchief, but that is maybe just me.
